The 10×10 events showcase a diverse group of leaders and creative minds from our community. Every few months, 10 speakers present 10 images of their work, interest, or inspiration. Slides advance automatically every 30 seconds, keeping presentations fast-paced and engaging.
The 10×10 series is organized by Michael Halflants, Design Principal of Halflants + Pichette Architects, and Tim Jaeger, Painter and Chief Curator of Galleries at Ringling College. The event is hosted in association with the Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

In this episode, 10×10 director Michael Halflants explores the role of design, art, and community in architecture. He shares how Halflants + Pichette expanded from single-family homes to multi-family and commercial projects across Florida’s Gulf Coast, and reflects on how the 10×10 format sparks creativity and connection.
