Eric Schaefer

Eric Schaefer joined Halflants + Pichette in 2023 as Director of Construction.  With a background in architecture, construction, and design/build, he is a foremost advocate for the Architect Led Design Build project delivery model, having successfully delivered over $70MM worth of award winning, custom residential and mixed use projects throughout New York and Massachusetts.  He believes in the enormous benefit of ALDB to the client, to the process, and to the quality of the finished product.  Prior to joining Halflants + Pichette, Eric spent 11 years with the industry leading firm Gluck+, working as part of integrated architecture/construction teams in the role of Construction Manager.  Previous experience included 7 years in the field, building contemporary residential projects and commissioned installations including the 2002 MoMA PS1 Young Architects Competition winning entry designed by William Massie.  Eric received a Masters of Architecture from Montana State University in 1999.
