Villa Bahia is a contemporary single-family residence defined by clarity of form and precision in structure. Designed by Halflants + Pichette, the home is composed of four simple volumes arranged perpendicular to one another, creating a strong architectural rhythm. The organization of these intersecting elements establishes a sequence of movement that leads from the ground entry to the elevated living and pool levels above. Each volume is positioned to frame views and capture light, giving the house a sense of sculptural balance and compositional order.
The primary vertical circulation connects directly to the elevated pool and main living areas. This layered arrangement enhances privacy while opening the upper floors to outdoor living and water views. On the third level, the building cantilevers dramatically over the pool terrace—a structural statement that defines the identity of the home. The uppermost spaces include bedrooms, offices, and a gym, each oriented toward the water and the public park across the street.
