Edward Smith graduated from University of South Florida’s School of Architecture + Community Design in 2016 with a Master of Architecture. During that time, he studied under Michael Halflants in multiple studios which shaped his approach to architecture and design. In 2021, Edward passed all his Licensing Tests and became a fully Licensed Architect and Interior Designer. Recognizing the importance of Sustainability and responsibility to being sustainable, Edward proceeded to become a LEED Green Associate in 2021 and is currently working on getting his LEED AP BD+C Certification. Edward is an active member of the American Institute of Architects and the U.S. Green Building Council.
Prior to joining Halfants + Pichette as an Architect and Project Manager in 2025, Edward spent nine years working at Long & Associates and has been involved in a myriad of projects varying in size, scope and industry which led him to be well versed in many fields and adaptable to new endeavors. He has experience in managing projects from the early stages of design through construction, adhering to industry standards while satisfying and exceeding client expectations. Having a thorough understanding of how each stage of a project is structured and can be impacted, he strives to make every project successful.
