Hazim Habib joined Halflants + Pichette in 2022 as an Architectural Intern while completing his master’s degree at the University of South Florida. Originally from a Palestinian family and raised in Jordan, Hazim came to the United States after graduating high school to pursue his passion for architecture. He was recruited after his projects at the Spring ’22 Open House exhibition caught the firm’s attention, showcasing bold and thoughtful designs for a museum in Oslo and a high-rise in Sarasota. Over the next two and a half years, Hazim proved himself through consistently innovative work, earning the Advanced Portfolio Award, one of the top honors bestowed by the faculty of the School of Architecture.
After graduating in 2024, Hazim’s role evolved from Design Associate to project coordination, where he continues to carry forward his bold design sensibility while embracing the challenges of real-world practice. He finds joy in developing thoughtful solutions that guide ideas from concept to construction, approaching every project with curiosity, creativity, and a collaborative spirit.
