Ree House om Lee explores the relationship between architecture and landscape through a series of interconnected volumes carefully positioned within a wooded setting. The composition responds to the natural character of the site, creating a sequence of indoor and outdoor spaces that foster privacy, connection, and moments of quiet reflection. Rather than imposing on its surroundings, the residence is shaped by the existing landscape, allowing light, vegetation, and views to become integral elements of the architectural experience.
A restrained palette of natural materials, expansive glazing, and generous roof overhangs reinforces the dialogue between interior and exterior environments. Courtyards, terraces, and shaded gathering spaces extend the living experience beyond the building envelope, while the clarity of the architectural form establishes a calm and timeless identity. Reed’s House is conceived as a place of retreat—where thoughtful design, landscape, and natural light work together to create a home defined by simplicity, warmth, and a strong connection to its environment.
