USF PHYSICAL EDUCATION

The new USF School of Physical Education & Exercise Science is designed as an annex to the Sun Dome, the university’s arena. It is linked to the Sun Dome by a two-story circulation spine. The program includes an office wing, six classrooms, as well as a gymnasium with adjoining labs. The simple layout is arranged as a cross for clarity and ease of orientation. A courtyard is formed by two arms of the cross and the wall of the Sun Dome.
